We decided to ride from Swiss Cottage to Euston Station which proved to be relatively easy, going via quiet streets for the 5 km. Quite a picturesque train trip brought us to Whitehaven, a bustling , but picturesque little seaside town. We enjoyed a nice meal at Zest, just opposite where we dipped our bike wheels into the Irish Sea, and obtained our first stamps to prove where we started the c2c. Our b&b was on the top of a steep hill but with a beautiful view.
