Metz to Cholet via Paris

Up early and on the Tgv,300 km per hour to Paris. Walked and rode through Paris. stopped on Pont neuf fora photo and had lunch at a brasserrie on Avenue Saint Germaine, near The Deux Magots. Made or way to Gare Montparnasse and there followed a circus. In the middle of Montparnasse- Paris's busiest railway station, Pat and Tracey spread out their scavenged packing material, dismantled two bicycles and wrapped them in blue palette plastic and duct tape, providing considerable interest for the Parisian commuters. Caught Tgv to Angers, but it was late and we missed train connection to Cholet. It only took us 15 minutes to re- assemble the bikes but we had an hour to wait before next train to Cholet. Arrived Cholet at about 8.30 and rode to hotel 4 km from station. A big day.
