Colmar

Relaxed morning catching up on house work. Amazingly, having ordered train tickets for Le Tour de France and on to Calais months ago, we were able to extract them without any trouble whatsoever at a ticket machine at the train station in Colmar. Unterlinden Museum was worth a visit, the highlight being an ancient and elaborate alter. The day finished with coffee at a nice little cafe and picnic dinner in the garden at our b&b, consisting of pate en croute de richelieu? ( spelling a problem), olive herb ham miniature loaf, baguette with Alsacion ham and Munster cheese, mille feuille and coffee eclair. Vive la France!
